is proud to announce a partnership with the Pepsi Bottling Group.
"Partnering with CET will enable us to make considerable progress
with our diversity hiring initiative", said Kari Roth, Sr.
Human Resources Manager for Pepsi. Hermelinda Sapien, CEO of CET
expressed excitement to begin a relationship with such a prestigious
company, and applauded Pepsi's focus on diversity hiring; specifically
skill-trained people, such as CET graduates. "Pepsi is a tremendously
strong organization, and we feel fortunate to have been selected
as one of their partners."
Greg Adams, Market Unit General Manager (MUGM) of Pepsi's Bay Area
region, joined Ms. Sapien in expressing his appreciation to work
with CET. "We carefully selected CET for their national breadth
of training centers, as well as their strong commitment to their
local communities, as well as their focus on quality job training.
We look forward to a long and prosperous working relationship."
Pepsi has joined CET's Industrial Advisory Board, and plans to hold
job fairs and other business related functions at the San Jose,
CET facility. CET will use funding from Pepsi to support ongoing
job skills training.
